Down in Wales visiting family and they recommended this place. Absolutely beautiful location, such a fantastic pub like something out of a movie. The service was excellent, our server was Tommy. He was so friendly and approachable. Food was amazing, I had the steak and kidney pie and it was top notch, family were all happy with what they got. Currently sat on the patio writing this review. Could stay here forever. Thank you guys

It’s hard to express how hard they work in this business unless you have been self employed yourself as I have. I sit there and look at all the tiny things. From The lamp to outdoor seating has as all been carefully thought out well as the Alpine room with furs in winter to the rear sun deck. The staff are fully on board from Austrian national dress to flat caps with food to match is just some of the experiences they have done Yes yes yes the food is obviously great. But it’s so much more than that. They are always looking forward to the next thing pushing all the time the boundaries of what’s possible, ideas, concepts and service, they probably don’t even realise just how good they are. We are lucky to have such an enthusiastic business minded people who truly put their all into it still surviving in the UK today. If any independent business needs all your support it’s this and they will return your support by another idea. Everyone should go there at least once!!!!

Had a fantastic Sunday lunch for 6 of us. All meals were lovely, including the vegetarian roast ordered by 2 of us. Portions plentiful and very tasty. Excellent service from Ruby who was attentive and friendly. Very relaxed county pub atmosphere. We will definitely go again.

Last week myself, John and our Dog dotty stayed for four nights this is our 2nd stay in a year and most definitely our favourite place. A lovely welcome on arrival room on ground floor spacious and well equipped with patio doors looking out to beautiful garden. Pub and Restaurant is outstanding lots of choices for breakfast and had Dinner every night so much to choose from on the menu and delicious. Tommy looked after us in the restaurant what a hard working friendly guy and Vanessa equally as lovely. Live music on Thursday was very good. Thank you lovely Kelly and all the team we will be back and Dotty said a big thank you for her doggy sausage in the morning and for the safe doggy paddock. Caroline & John Morgan

We had a great experience and meal at the Greyhound Inn. The food was great, very tasty, huge portions and good options for vegetarians/vegans. Tommy was our server, he was friendly, polite and attentive, even when it got busy later in the night. The decor is cosy and different, we loved the alpine theme and all the outdoor lights. We sat outside after our meal, they put the heaters on for us which was lovely and we used the blankets to put over our legs to keep warm, it was lovely. There is plenty of parking and it’s dog friendly too, what’s not to love!

A great Sunday lunch, celebrating our anniversary. Service (by Ruby) was wonderful and food very tasty. Just perfect. Atmosphere warm and cosy. Will be back. Highly recommended. (We didn't stay overnight so cannot comment on the rooms).

We visited The Greyhound Inn, Usk on Valentines Day evening and had a lovely evening. The food was amazing (and plenty of it), the staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. This was our second visit. We had a few minor issues during our first visit, and following an online rating I was approached by Kelly and asked to give feedback of which I did. Kelly was extremely understanding and professional and we received a voucher to come back and give them another try. My husband and I were so glad we did and we will absolutely be back again - this time to try the Sunday roast! Thank you Kelly and Team for taking onboard our feedback with such a professional approach!

I went the the Greyhound for my 18th Birthday and it was absolutely amazing! The staff were so welcoming and accommodating to me and my family, especially for a Saturday night when it's already busy anyway. One of our servers were Tommy and he did not disappoint with his cheerful service and humour. There were also other members of staff serving us and they were absolutely amazing as well. The food was absolutely insane. The prices that they changed for their quality of food was very reasonable and the flavour in everything I had was just right! I definitely recommend the cheesy garlic bread as a starter or a side and food portioning was on point! You definitely won't be leaving there hungry afterwards. The set up and decor gave a lovely warming and cosy atmosphere! All my family enjoyed it and we all want to go again.
